In Fara3D we do projects in 2 different ways. Projects with an Idea and projects with screenplay.
For projects with idea we write a plot and if the client confirmed that plot process goes on to screenplay and Character/Location Design. After designing and modeling the assets animating process starts. the animated preview renders to get the final cut. Visual effets will add if needed.
